About Us
AJID Foundation is a volunteer-led, non-profit organization that works to create access through grantmaking and investments in health research, education, human services and community development to foster pathways for communities to improve their life circumstances.
Our Story
The AJID Foundation was created to continue the legacy of Ifeoluwa DanSalami who was a bright young man passionate about uplifting the community through activism, volunteer efforts, and education.
“At the AJID foundation, we believe that everyone, regardless of their ability, race, ethnicity, gender, or socio-economic status deserves the opportunity to have a healthy life, access to education and resources to help improve the quality of life in our communities”
How can we work together in new ways to improve access for better health and education for the less privileged?
We know our current healthcare, education and early learning systems aren’t meeting the needs of all our children and communities so we hope to build partnerships that bring together resources, funding and expertise to make an impact and drive change.
How will we accomplish this?
Scholarships to those in underrepresented populations
Local community outreach projects
Supporting faith-based organizations in areas of need
Provide groundbreaking research in science and medicine to the general public
